Meet DJ Kara
Your server's own AI radio host. Glamorous, obsessed with your music taste, and always on air.
She curates, not just shuffles
Most auto-play just picks a random song. Kara plans themed listening chapters — a run of songs that actually belong together — and introduces each one with a single spoken intro instead of talking over every track. If the room skips their way out of a chapter, she notices, changes direction, and says so.
She reads dedications on air
Use /requestto queue a song with a message — who it's for, and why. Kara reads it out before the track plays, call-in radio style. It's the small touch that turns a queue command into a moment.
She learns your server's taste
Over time Kara picks up on what your server actually plays — favourite artists, when you're pickiest about skipping, when you're most active — and leans into it when she's choosing what's next. It's not a static playlist; it adapts to your server specifically.
She keeps the receipts
Run /wrapped for a recap of what your server's been listening to, or /wrapped matchto see how compatible your taste is with someone else's. Kara also drops in with a written recap every week, and again the moment your server hits a real listening milestone.
She's waiting on Pro and above.
Everything else about Pulse — playback, effects, playlists — works on every plan. Kara is the one thing worth upgrading for.
